This 2025 G87 BMW M2 recieved Extended Front End PPF using GYEON Matte PPF and a range of ceramic coatings.
This 2025 G87 BMW M2 joined us in the studio for Extended Front End Paint Proetction Film (PPF) to protect the stunning Frozen Portimao Blue Paintwork.
The aim was to protect the BMW's vulnerable exterior panels from stone chips and road debris while maintaining the distinctive factory matte finish. We also applied gloss PPF to the roof protecting the factory Carbon Fibre, creating a contrast between the two finishes while adding another layer of protection.

Before installing the Paint Protection Film, the BMW underwent a thorough preparation process to ensure the paintwork was clean and ready for installation. Careful preparation is essential for achieving a clean finish, with the film sitting correctly against the bodywork without any contamination.
For the Extended Front End, we used GYEON Matte PPF to protect the Frozen Portimao Blue paintwork while retaining its original satin appearance. Unlike standard gloss PPF, matte film is designed to preserve the factory matte finish without introducing unwanted gloss.
This package, which is also know as (Track Pack) provides protection to the areas most exposed to road debris, including the front bumper, bonnet, front wings, headlights, side skirts, A-pillars and leading edge of the roof. These areas are particularly vulnerable to stone chips and general road wear, making PPF a practical addition to a performance car such as the G87 M2.
GYEON PPF provides a physical barrier between the paintwork and everyday hazards, helping to protect against stone chips, light scratches and other surface damage.
To protect the BMW’s exposed carbon fibre roof, we installed GYEON Gloss PPF. The film provides a protective barrier against stone chips, light scratches and everyday road debris, helping to preserve the condition of the carbon fibre beneath.
The gloss finish maintains the appearance of the carbon fibre while adding a durable layer of protection. As the roof is an exposed area of the vehicle, applying PPF helps reduce the risk of surface damage and keeps the original finish protected from the demands of regular driving.
Combined with the GYEON Matte PPF applied to the extended front end, the installation provides tailored protection for both the Frozen Portimao Blue paintwork and the carbon fibre roof.
Following completion of the PPF installation, we applied GYEON Q² Infinite ceramic coating to both the PPF and the remaining paintwork.
Applying ceramic coating across the film and unprotected paintwork helps provide consistent surface protection throughout the exterior. On the PPF, the coating enhances water repellency and helps reduce the build-up of dirt and grime, making routine washing and maintenance easier.
The coating also provides chemical resistance and helps protect against everyday contamination. On the remaining paintwork, GYEON Infinite adds a durable protective layer, helping to maintain the vehicle's finish over time.
To complete the protection package, we treated the exterior glass with GYEON Q² View EVO ceramic glass coating.
Q² View EVO improves water repellency, helping rainwater bead and clear from the glass more readily while driving. This can improve visibility in wet conditions and make the glass easier to clean during regular maintenance.
