What's the process for using a medium cutting pad?

Prep the vehicle: Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly. For best results, use a panel spray to prep the surface
Prime the pad: Apply 3–4 pea-sized drops of a medium-cut compound to the pad. If using a new pad, apply more product to fully saturate it.
Perform a test spot: Work in a small, inconspicuous area first. This allows you to find the most effective combination of pad, product, and technique for your vehicle's specific paint.
Polish the panel: Work on one small section at a time. Start at a low speed to spread the product, then increase to a medium speed. Work with 50% overlapping passes at a slow, deliberate pace.
Remove residue: Decrease your machine's speed as the compound becomes clear. Buff off any remaining polish residue with a clean, dry microfiber cloth before moving to the next section.
Clean the pad: Use a brush or compressed air to remove excess compound from the pad between sections. For a full wash, use warm water and mild soap, then let it air dry completely
