How do I use a heavy cutting pad?
Prep the vehicle: Thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle
Prime the pad: Apply 3–4 pea-sized drops of a heavy-cut compound to the pad. Add a few extra drops the first time to help lubricate a new pad
Polish:Start the machine at a low speed to spread the product, then increase the speed and apply firm pressure, using a cross-hatch or overlapping pattern.
Refine: As the polish becomes transparent, decrease pressure and speed
Clean up: Remove the residue with a clean microfiber cloth. You must always follow a heavy-cut step with a polishing or finishing step to refine the surface and achieve a high-gloss finish
