How to Use Polishing Pads:

• Understand the Combo: Think of pads and polishes as a combo that works together. Different pads have different levels of abrasiveness, which allows you to vary the cutting and finishing results on different paint types.
• Choose the Right Pad: Select a pad based on the material, construction, coarseness, firmness, and flexibility required for the specific paint defect you are correcting.

Pad Maintenance and Longevity:

• Clean Between Panels: Use a pad brush or compressed air to remove excess product and paint residue from the pad's surface after every few panels to maintain its performance
• Wash Thoroughly: At the end of the day, wash pads with water to remove embedded polish and clear coat
• Air-Dry: After washing, allow the pads to air-dry on a flat surface to prevent warping and maintain their shape. Never put pads in a clothes dry
• Rotate Pads: Have multiple pads of each type in circulation. Rotating them reduces stress on individual pads and prevents them from becoming saturated, which decreases their effectiveness
• Store Properly: Once dry, store pads flat in a clean, dust-free, and airtight container or bag to prevent contamination and warping
