Interior Dressings
Interior dressings are designed to enhance and protect the surfaces inside your vehicle. Perfect for dashboards, trims, and plastics, they provide a clean, satin or gloss finish while protecting against UV damage, fading, and dust build-up. These products leave your interior surfaces looking refreshed and revitalised.
Are interior dressings the same as cleaners?
No. A cleaner removes dirt, dust, and grime, while a dressing is a protective and aesthetic product that is applied after the surface is clean. Many dressings, especially those that are all-in-one, have some cleaning properties, but they should not be used as the primary cleaning step for a heavily soiled interior.
How do I apply an interior dressing?
- Clean first. Thoroughly clean the interior surfaces with an all-purpose cleaner or dedicated interior cleaner.
- Spray or dab. Apply the dressing to a microfiber cloth or applicator pad, not directly onto the surface. This prevents overspray and dripping.
- Wipe evenly. Work the product into the surface in a thin, even layer.
- Wipe off excess. For a matte finish, or to avoid a greasy look, use a clean, dry microfiber towel to wipe away any excess product.
- Let it dry. Allow the dressing to dry completely before touching the surface or driving
Can I use an interior dressing on exterior plastics?
Some multi-purpose dressings, particularly water-based ones, are formulated for both interior and exterior use. These can be used on exterior plastic trim and tires. Always check the product description to confirm.
