Microfibre & Wool Pads

Microfibre and Wool Pads are designed for heavy cutting and correction, making them perfect for tackling deeper defects, heavy swirl marks, and oxidation. Wool pads provide aggressive cutting power for rapid results, while microfibre pads deliver a balance of correction and refinement. Ideal for use with compounds and polishes, these pads are trusted by professionals and detailing enthusiasts alike. Whether restoring neglected paintwork or enhancing finish quality, Microfibre & Wool Pads deliver consistent, high-performance results.

How to use microfibre polishing pads?

  • Use the correct machine: Microfibre pads can be used with dual-action (DA) polishers for effective and efficient paint correction.
  • Prime the pad: Before use, apply 8–10 pea-sized drops of compound to the pad. Run the polisher on a low speed to spread the product evenly across the pad and warm it up. After the initial priming, you'll need only 3–4 pea-sized drops for each subsequent section.
  • Avoid excessive pressure: Let the polisher do the work. Applying too much pressure won't speed up correction and can damage the paint's clear coat.
  • Keep the pad moving: Microfibre pads can generate a lot of heat, so avoid lingering in one spot. Move the polisher at a steady pace to prevent heat build-up and potential damage.
  • Clean frequently: Clean the pad after each section you polish. Excess compound and clear coat dust will clog the fibres, reducing their cutting power and increasing the chance of dusting

When to use a wool pad?

  • Heavy Defect Removal: Wool pads are the most aggressive option for cutting through heavy swirl marks, deep scratches, and other significant imperfections
  • Rotary Polishers: They are primarily designed for use with a rotary polisher, whose action maximizes the pad's cutting power
