Applying a fabric coating?
Ensure the top is dry:After cleaning, allow the fabric to air dry completely
Apply the coating:Follow the product's specific instructions, but generally, you'll apply the fabric protector evenly over the dry, clean top
Allow it to dry: Let the coating dry completely before exposing the soft top to rain or putting it away
Important Reminders:
Avoid pressure washers:Do not use high-pressure washers, as they can damage the fabric's seams and fibres
Use specific products: Only use cleaning products and coatings specifically designed for fabric soft tops to prevent damage
Work in the shade: Apply products in a shaded area, not in direct sunlight
Understand " Water Beading":
While a good coating will cause water to bead up and roll off, this may not always be visible after prolonged rain or heavy wetting, but the top should still prevent water from passing through
