What can metal polish be used on?

• Bare metal surfaces: Metal polish is formulated for uncoated metals like chrome, aluminium, and stainless steel.
• Car trim and accessories: It is perfect for polishing exhaust tips, chrome trim, and alloy wheels to remove tarnish, carbon, and oxidation.
• Other metals: Many polishes can also be used on brass, copper, and even gold

What surfaces should I avoid?

• Painted surfaces: Metal polishes use abrasives that can damage or scratch your car's paint and clear coat. Never use it on painted areas.
• Anodized or lacquered metals: The chemicals in metal polish can strip the protective finish from anodized or lacquered metals.
• Plated metals: For delicate plated metals, use a very soft cloth and little pressure to avoid rubbing through the thin plating

How can I make the polish last longer?

To preserve the polished finish, you can apply a protective wax or sealant designed for metal surfaces after polishing. Some metal polishes contain a protective layer.
