What is Colour PPF?
Colour PPF is a self-healing, polyurethane film designed not only to protect against chips, scratches and UV damage, but to also add a touch of customization. It combines the physical durability of traditional paint protection film with the aesthetic versatility of a vinyl wrap.
Unlike standard vinyl wraps, Colour PPF is designed to have minimal "orange peel" texture, resulting in a finish that closely mimics high-quality automotive paint.

Before carrying out any Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation or ceramic coating on this JCW, the vehicle first underwent a full preparation process. This begins with a meticulous decontamination wash, ensuring every surface is thoroughly cleaned a free from contaminants.
During this stage, the Mini is carefully washed including hard to reach areas such as the wheel arches, door shuts, under the bonnet and around the engine bay. This ensures all dirt, grime and debris are completely removed before any work begins.
To complete the preparation, the JCW receives a single-stage machine polish to remove light imperfections, and creates a perfectly smooth surface - ensuring the PPF can be applied seamlessly for a flawless, high quality result.
All necessary parts for a perfect install were first carefully disassembled such as front and rear lights, door handles, trims and badges. This level of disassembly allows us to access edges, recesses and hidden areas that would otherwise be impossible to reach with panels left in place.
By doing this, we're able to wrap deeper into panel edges and eliminate visible seams, ensuring a cleaner, more seamless finish across the entire vehicle. It also maximizes coverage of the original paintwork, providing superior protection and a true full body transformation.
All parts are then carefully refitted to manufacturer standards once installation is complete, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with no damage or misalignment.
To complete the transformation, the entire vehicle was protected using GYEON Q² Infinite, a certified-only ceramic coating. This advanced coating was applied across the newly installed PPF, to further enhance both protection and finish.
GYEON Q² Infinite provides an additional layer of defense against environmental contaminants, chemicals and harmful UV exposure, helping to preserve the appearance of the JCW long-term.
