We recently completed this impressive Aston Martin Vantage after it went through our Enhancement Detail to remove swirl marks as well as enhance and rejuvenate the entire car.
This impressive V8 Vantage came to us recently for our Enhancement Detail where it underwent a multitude of polish and pad combinations and many hours to remove light swirl marks and scratches from the Flugplatz Blue paintwork and improve the overall appearance of the car.

Why is paint decontamination prior to machine polishing so important?
The decontamination process is an important step before machine polishing a vehicle; doing this will drastically change the condition and appearance of your paintwork. This process is all about removing embedded contaminants and impurities that washing alone cant, as well as setting you on the right path for any further paint correction.
For example, we carried out a thorough decontamination wash on this Vantage which included the use of iron remover, tar remover, degreaser and clay bars to remove sharp particles, environmental fallout and road tar - all the types of contamination you don't want swirling around on your polishing pads, inflicting defect and damaging paintwork.

What is the Enhancement Detail?
This entailed the 'initial cut' process with a combination of polishing pads and compound in order to remove as much paintwork defect and damage as was safe to do so. We then followed up with a refinement stage using a lighter combination of pads and polish designed to restore the paintworks original gloss and colour clarity.
