Nielsen Car Pre-Wash is your first line of defence against the toughest exterior contaminants: grease, road film, diesel residue, oil, and bug splatter.

Its concentrated, non-caustic formula delivers high-level cleaning power while staying safe for paint, vinyl graphics, livery, trims, and sensitive finishes.

By softening and lifting heavy soiling before contact washing, it reduces the risk of swirls, preserves protective coatings, and speeds up your entire wash process. Versatile, silicone-free, and NTA-free, it works effortlessly through trigger spray, low-pressure application, and snow foam systems. Whether you’re cleaning a commercial fleet, prepping a daily driver, or caring for wrapped vehicles, Nielsen Pre-Wash gives you a cleaner, safer start, every time.

Q1: Is Nielsen Pre-Wash safe on wraps, livery, and sensitive trims?
Yes, its non-caustic, silicone-free, and NTA-free formula is engineered to clean without damaging vinyl wraps, painted graphics, plastic trims, or delicate finishes.

Q2: What dilution should I use for general vehicle pre-washing?
A common ratio is 1:10 (one part product to ten parts water). You can adjust slightly based on the level of dirt, but avoid over-concentrating to prevent waste or streaking.

Q3: Can I use Nielsen Pre-Wash in a snow foam lance?
Absolutely. It performs exceptionally well in snow foam and low-pressure systems, helping extend dwell time and improving dirt softening before rinsing.

Q4: Will it remove wax, sealants, or ceramic coatings?
No, the formula is non-caustic and designed to clean without stripping protective layers. It helps preserve wax longevity by removing contaminants that degrade finishes.

Q5: Can I use Nielsen Pre-Wash on all vehicle types, including commercial fleets?
Yes, it’s ideal for fleets, coaches, vans, bikes, boats, and household vehicles, especially those with heavy road film or bug contamination.

Q6: Should I apply it to a dry or wet surface?
For best results, pre-wet the surface. This helps the product spread evenly and prevents rapid drying, especially in warm weather.

Q7: How long should I leave it on before rinsing?
Allow around five minutes dwell time, but never let it dry. Work in shade where possible.

Q8: Is it suitable for regular weekly use?
Yes, it’s gentle enough for frequent maintenance while still strong enough for heavily soiled areas.
