Description

For any sealant to form chemical bonds effectively during the car detailing process, the intended panel must always be perfectly clean, free from any polish or silicon residues.

Gtechniq Panel Wipe blends pure alcohols with aromatic solvents to dissolve any polish residues and 'flash' off, to leave a completely decontaminated surface.

Based on the Crystal Serum, Gtechniq's flagship coating which is suitable for professional application only, Crystal Serum Light (CSL) has been designed with the car care enthusiast in mind.

Crystal Serum Light forms strong chemical bonds with paintwork to provide significant resistance to wash-induced swirls. It also provides an impressive resilience to extremes of pH, such as those found in some car wash products, traffic film removers, industrial fallout and environmental factors.

Crystal Serum Light provides exceptional levels of gloss, but for added reflectivity and unbeatable water-beading, finish with a layer of Gtechniq EXOv5 Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating.

How to use The Ultimate Protection Kit
  1. Prep the car properly: Wash, decontaminate, and fully dry the vehicle. If needed, polish to correct imperfections. Always work indoors or in shade on cool paint, as the coating will lock in whatever condition the surface is in.
  2. Panel Wipe (surface prep): Spray onto a microfibre cloth and wipe each panel to remove oils and residues, then immediately buff with a second clean cloth to leave a perfectly clean surface for coating.
  3. Apply CSL (base coating): Using the applicator, apply in a crosshatch pattern over small sections. After 30–60 seconds, buff off with one cloth and then a second to level the finish and remove any high spots.
  4. Apply EXO (top coat): Apply evenly in small sections over the CSL layer, wait 1–2 minutes, then buff off thoroughly with clean microfibre cloths for a clear, glossy finish.
  5. Curing and aftercare: Keep the car completely dry for at least 12 hours and avoid washing for 7 days. An optional second coat of EXO can be applied after about 1 hour for improved durability and water beading.
