Identify Your Leather Type:

• Types: Most cars use aniline, semi-aniline, or pigmented leather
• Aniline: Natural, soft, no protective coating, easily stained
• Semi-Aniline: A slight protective layer but retains its natural appearance
• Pigmented: Most common, with a robust protective coating, resistant to spills

How to clean leather?

1. Remove loose dirt: Use a soft-bristled or boar bristle brush to remove dust and dirt from the leather surface and creases
2. Apply cleaner: Spray a small amount of a specialized leather cleaner onto the leather
3. Agitate gently: Use the brush with light pressure to agitate the dirt and lift it from the leather
4. Wipe with a cloth: Wipe away any excess cleaner and dissolved dirt with a clean microfibre towel
5. Condition: Once clean, apply a high-quality leather conditioner to replenish oils and keep the leather supple

Protecting Your Leather:

• Use sealants and protectors: After conditioning, apply a leather sealant or protectant to prevent future damage
• Add UV protection: Use products containing UV inhibitors to protect the leather from sun damage
• Ensure good ventilation: Regularly ventilate your car's interior to prevent moisture build-up, which can lead to mould and deterioration
